FLEXZY STAGE FINAL SKILL UP MASTER CLASS IN UYO...

It was awesome today as we were opportune to be part of the final SKILL UP Master Class, in our midst we had the CEO of Flexzy Stage Global by Mr Eseny Destiny who lecture us on the SEVEN(7) ELEMENTS OF MUSIC and BLUEPRINT ABOUT DANCE... The highlight was when the Managing Director Of Flexzy Stage Global Mr Unwana Anietie who unveil the idea behind SKILL UP....

During the lecture on the SEVEN ELEMENTS OF MUSIC Eseny Destiny outlined the seven element which goes thus:
Rythmn: He made us to understand that Rythmn is a sequences and pattern whereby music is being arrange.. Rythmn is a pattern of movement in time.. He made us to know that to have a good Rythmn you must have a good beat, tempo, metre, etc..
Melody: Basically, melody can be said to be the simplest form where one sings. It is a coherent succession of pitches.
Harmony: The relationship of pitches as the sound simultaneously. We have interval, cord as others in making a good harmony..
Timbre: The quality given to a sound by it overtones.. And one prominent sub of this timbre is colour. He made us to know that colour has alot to do with sound.The nature of colour helps to understand what type of music is being released.
Dynamics: It is the aspect of music relating to the degrees of loudness..
Texture: It is the pattern of sound created by the interaction of different voices.. We have two distinctive pattern under texture such as: Monophony and Homophony
Form: It is the shape of a musical composition has define by new and repeated segment. Also known as the musical road map. E.g A, B, C, D, etc.
In conclusion to produce a sound that is pleasing to the ear, you don't need to ignore this seven(7) elements has it will help you to give a better and pleasing sounds and attain professionalism..
