We wanted to hop on here real quick to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you who came, who supported from afar + who participated in some shape or form.
It really took a whole village to make this happen and we are forever grateful.

It made us so excited to dream up more and imagine what the full version will look like.

We love you.

Opening night this coming Thursday!!

Year 31: The Preview is our first live performance in 2 years and our first theater production in 3 years! Our first evening length performance as MUDA was in June 2019 and we're so excited to present something new - in progress. The final installation of Year 31 will be an immersive, durational, gallery-esque experience - with 12 spaces, 12 short films and multiple live dancers. This Preview next week is an excerpt of this exploration of mixed media and live performance.
Join us for this conversation about identity and shifting the ways we have viewed beauty for the last few hundred years.

Meet KEELEY!!

Keeley is pure magic and we are so thrilled to have her music for this series. We’ve been working with her on a wide variety of projects throughout the years so when we knew we wanted original music, she immediately felt like the perfect choice.

Dresage is the brainchild of Keeley Bumford, an artist/producer/composer based in Los Angeles. In her world of creativity with Dresage as the vehicle, she creates lush synth and orchestral musings, allowing herself the freedom to inhabit many genres, from dreamy synthwave to indie art pop. Clash Magazine calls her “pop from an alternate universe driven by a commitment to personal communication…honest, creative and forever outside the box.”

Meet: EVE!!

We are so honored to have Eve on another one of our films. We will be diving into what 𝕊𝕥𝕣𝕖𝕟𝕘𝕥𝕙 looks like while playing with 16mm.

Contribute to Eve and this film through the link in bio.

Full bio below:
Based in Los Angeles, Eve draws upon her background in fine art painting and photography to influence and inspire her work in narrative and documentary filmmaking. Her visual aesthetic is fueled by collaboration, empathy and intention. She has traveled all over the world filming documentary stories for The United Nations, New Balance, Qualcomm and more. Her fiction work typically lands her in the US; shooting feature films on location from Maine to Arizona and in Los Angeles. Eve established herself as a pioneer in Virtual Reality filmmaking with “The Visitor” (AFI 2016, SFiFF 2016) and “Hard World For Small Things” (Sundance 2016, Tribeca 2016). Her position as an innovator in this new frontier led her to “Ashe ‘68” (Sundance 2019, Tribeca 2019) nominated for a Sports Emmy in 2019. But above all, what Eve really loves is collaborating on projects that blur the line between the real and surreal, grounded in emotion and story.
