Many, many years ago, I knit a sock - and it’s the only sock I’ve ever finished. This is that sock. Perhaps not the best choice of pattern for a first sock, but isn’t it fabulous? It’s Millicent by Cookie A.

Now that I’m older and hopefully wiser, I would choose differently for a first sock. Learn from my mistake! Shellye is offering her Learn to Knit Socks class starting this Thursday, September 3, where you’ll learn all the important steps to knitting a sock in worsted weight on DPNs or two circular needles.

Our newest shop sample is off the blocking mat and all the ends (well, almost all) are woven in 🎉

Driftwood by Birgit Gehl Ostergaard-Jensen knit in Isager Baby and Mulberry Silk was a fantastic project from start to finish. I loved how simple it was to work the vertical stripes and the finishing details on the sleeve and side seam are just the right touch of polish.

In short - an easy-to-wear tee that will take you effortlessly into fall ❤️
