Results of the International Math Kangaroo competition are out! Atomic Learners was the official center in Los Alamos. Nearly half of Los Alamos students scored in the top 3 at the state level! Congratulations!

Congratulations to Atomic Learners students for their strong performances at the 2026 New Mexico Scholastic State Championship in Albuquerque this past weekend! One of our students achieved the best result among players from Los Alamos and tied for 3rd place in the K–3 division out of 26 competitors.

Earlier, our chess team also played some great games against very tough all-age opponents at the rapid tournament at Fuller Lodge on April 18!

On March 19, 2026, over 60,000 students participated in Math Kangaroo competitions in the USA and over 6 million worldwide! Atomic Learners Academy was an official center for the Math Kangaroo USA test in Los Alamos.

Our chess team won 2nd place in the Northern Schools Chess League in the 2025-2026 season! The league featured 20+ elementary school teams, as well as many middle and high school teams from northern New Mexico.
