It's Work-in-Progress Wednesday! I'm working on a Grid Gambit cowl using some woolstok and stash millspun with long color changes.

This pattern is a great option to stretch a precious skein of handspun (yours or some of mine available in store) by pairing it with a commercial yarn. Cascade BFL DK and Woolstok Worsted are both great options.

The Enchanted Yarn Crawl is here! The crawl launches today (Friday, September 25) and runs through Saturday, October 3. (We have regular store hours throughout, so we are CLOSED Sunday and Monday as usual.)

To participate, bring in your yarn passport (or have us print you a copy) for a stamp, and visit all the stores on the crawl for a chance to win fabulous prizes! (Check out the hashtag for other participating shops.)

Here at CKYC we have crawl totes and new yarns for you! There will also be door prizes all day on both Saturdays (September 26 and October 3).

It's Finished Object Friday! It's the triangle of mystery. It's a Tensfield Hat from Martina Behm. It's an any gauge any size pattern that I picked because this handspun wasn't super consistent. A long color change yarn like colorburst would be fun (and you could probably get 3 or 4 out of one ball).
