League of Most Interesting Gentlemen

League of Most Interesting Gentlemen A Unique Living History Experience ~ Perspectives on Society, Science, Foreign Affairs, Politics,
and Philosophical Reflections by
Men who Made History.

The League of Most Interesting Gentlemen is a unique team of living history performers who bring eighteenth century history back to life. Imagine sharing words with Presidents Jefferson and Madison, Treasury Secretary Albert Gallatin, Doctor Franklin and a Natural Philosopher from the Age of Reason. Founder of modern historical interpretation, Freeman Tilden, established “rules” of historical inte

rpretation that place great emphasis on provoking curiosity. The League embraces this concept and strives to entertain and educate audiences in a manner that promotes engagement, conviviality, and a broad range of interests. The Gentlemen offer commentary on political and social issues, and the intellectual spirit of the Enlightenment. Interactive panels of notable speakers cover everything from the civics to high society. Discourses may range from international politics and democratic government, to philosophy and science. Ron Duquette (a.k.a Albert Gallatin) acts as chief contact for the League. If you have questions regarding our services, please reach out to him.
