It’s been a MINUTE since I’ve shared any work, mostly because it’s been too long since I’ve painted in my own studio, you know because summer and kids and summer 🤷🏻‍♀️
BUT lots of new stuff rolling out soon! The mini beach series is nearly complete and I’m working on a print/postcard set option also 😍
In the meantime, enjoy this little beauty freshly glazed and ready to fire! This calla lily inspired platter was my first piece using underglazes, which allowed me to glaze in a more traditional “painting” style. Can’t wait to see how this one turns out - stay tuned!
Enrolling in ceramics classes has kept me sane this year and has provided the much needed structure to maintain at least some semblance of an art practice in the thick of momming littles 🙌🏻

New release of minis coming soon!
I’ve partnered up with .sanford07 to turn her gorgeous beach photos into a collection of Beach Minis. These paintings feature the gorgeous coastline of Southern California - a place we both hold dear in our hearts.
More updates to come, but these little babes should be hitting the Etsy shop by the end of next week.

Sometimes to find inspiration you have to get outside your comfort zone. Ceramics has forced me wayyyyyy outside my comfort zone - there are so many steps in the process, it’s time consuming, it’s imperfect, and yet despite its difficulty, it’s relaxing and so rewarding!
Pulling the trigger on taking a ceramics class has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself in years. It’s been one of the only things I’ve done solely for myself in years and I’m pretty sure we’re all benefitting from that!
This video is a little ring dish for - it’s small, a little off center, and will likely end up with some imperfections as it goes through the firing and glazing process, but that’s okay, it’s all part of the process ✨

It’s tour time!
The use of molding paste in these paintings adds a sculptural element to each piece. Much like their “real” counterparts, they invite you in to look closer, study their layers, and soak up every imperfection which makes them unique.
Did you know it can take seeds years to germinate? The conditions for each individual seed have to be just right. So if you plant a packet of flowers, some (maybe most) will bloom, but it could take years for the conditions to be just right for others to bloom.
We could probably all stand to look at humans the way we look at flowers - to accept them for their individual beauty, flaws and all.
I hope these pieces brighten your day and spark joy whenever you look at them!
