This was my childhood friend, my very first partner, growing up in Buffalo, NY. We partnered to perform at local events, hospitals, nursing homes, etc., ( Mrs. Dunn's Stars of Tomorrow), while we trained at different studios; we choreographed our own routines! What memories... even those Wednesdays at Miss Beverly's in Niagara Falls, where we showed up for class whenever we were in town. Thanks for everything, Mickey.... you are always in my heart, especially when I dance!

Thank you, Jess, for this inspiring interview and your words about Richard and the opera mentoring he gave so freely to all his students. So many friends and clients ask about my husband and life with him; but you have also touched on the incredible mentoring from Robin Jensen, his director of education at thatv time. Robin is still my dear friend, and continues his teaching and innovative approach to music education. For all the Coggies and lives he touched, his work still lives on in their daily lives as you dance in his shoes. God bless you for this tribute. You are dearly loved...
