Located on the Wekiva riverfront, the gallery hosts a carefully tailored collection of works inspired by natural subjects. Gallery CERO is a unique art gallery space located north of Orlando, Fla., overlooking the Wekiva River. Owned by Bill and Mary Weinaug, the space serves to represent artists and showcase natural works from around the world. It also hosts art classes, special events, exhibitions, projects, educational programs and more. Gallery CERO is located at Wekiva Island, a riverside oasis dedicated to sustainability, education and art. The gallery takes its name from Wekiva Island’s vow to go carbon neutral by 2030 by focusing on Conservation, Efficiency, Renewables and Offset. The discovery of two headstones near Rock Springs sparked a search that helped bring the history of Ethel and the people who once called it home back to life.

Now, you can experience a piece of that history for yourself. Visit Gallery CERO at Wekiva Island to see a recreation of an Ethel cabin on display through the end of October.

It’s more than a mural. It’s a celebration of the river that makes Wekiva Island what it is. 🌿

The first phase of our Wild & Scenic River Mural Project is now on display, kicking off a community art project that tells the story of the Wekiva River and the natural resources that make it so special.

Copley Master, Mike Wintermantel, led the development of the Phase 1 concept and helped bring the background to life, which highlights the scenery, recreation, wildlife and habitat found along and beneath the Wekiva River. More details will be added by participating artists as the project continues.
