The 2023 Flower Moon Gatsby Ball was a fabulous success!

So many beautifully dressed ladies in their silks, fishnet stockings and diamonds and the handsomely attired gentlemen in their formal tails and tuxedos, or classic 1920 vintage attire. It felt like we were transported right back into the days of prohibition, top hats, flapper dresses and feather boas. Everyone dressed to impress and it was wonderful to experience and see.

The food was scrumptiously tasty and the beer and wine kept flowing. I believe there was a "Dick Tracy" detective in our midst, but he didn't want to stop the party! The music kept everyone hopping and flying across the dance floor and the energy didn't stop until we were told it was time to shut down.

Thank you to everyone who came ready to have a wonderful time and made this year's dance such super-duper fun!

Don't waste any time, get your Flapper dresses, Zoot Suits and your glad rags ready, ditch your chaperone and join us for the Second Annual Flower Moon Gatsby Ball which is an evening of dancing, eating, and 1920s fun!
On Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the Longwood Community Center in the heart of the historic downtown area of Longwood, Florida you can dance the night away in a gorgeous space defined by sky high vaulted ceilings, polished wood floors, and decorative pendant lighting reminiscent of the Great Gatsby era.
The Z-Street Speakeasy Band will return as the evening's main attraction, along with DJ Rusty Phillips providing playing music between sets.
Attire for this event is "formal (real tuxedos and formal dresses) and/or vintage dressed - like the era". Dress to impress.

Light Hors D’oeuvres and beverages will be served at no additional cost.
