As we close our 2025/2026 Season, we want to pause and say one simple but heartfelt thing,

Thank You.

To our audiences, donors, artists, volunteers, collaborators, and community. Your support made this season possible. Because of you, we were able to tell bold stories, take creative risks, and gather together in shared moments of laughter, wonder, discomfort, and connection.

From the quiet magic of "Almost, Maine" to the thrill of "War of the Worlds", the sharp bite of "Witch", the irreverent joy of "Who’s Holiday", and the awkward, hilarious heart of "First Date". Each production existed because you showed up. You filled seats, spread the word, believed in the work, and reminded us why live theatre matters.

For this our final day of Spotlights on the cast of First Date, we bring you Melissa Fike, Ray Sievering and John Boggs.

At the heart of First Date is a trio of artists who bring an extraordinary mix of heart, soul, and nonstop laughter to the stage. Melissa, Ray, and John are storytellers in the truest sense—artists whose history, talent, and love for this work are woven into every beat of the show.

A founding member of :11 After Theatre Company, Melissa has helped shape the company from its earliest days, with unforgettable performances in Who’s Holiday, Love Letters, and Almost, Maine, along with a remarkable list of local and professional credits that span everything from Gypsy and Sweeney Todd to Walt Disney World and an Emmy-nominated turn in The News In R***e. Her presence grounds the show with honesty, wit, and heart.

Ray returns to First Date for the second time, bringing his signature joy and larger-than-life energy back to the stage. From Lord Farquaad and Captain Hook to The Riddler in Six Flags’ Batman stunt show, Ray’s performances are always fueled by playfulness and precision. Offstage, he’s powered by mountain air, sports, and the unwavering support of his wife and two kids—something he carries with him into every performance.

And tying it all together is John Boggs, thrilled to be remounting First Date at the beautiful Longmont Museum’s Stewart Auditorium. With recent music directing credits including Fiddler on the Roof, Godspell Jr., and Six: Teen Edition, John leads this cast with deep care, sharp musical instincts, and a whole lot of love for the people in the room.

Together, this trio embodies what First Date does best: big laughs, genuine connection, and the beautiful chaos of being human. We can’t wait for you to experience it with them.

Let us take some of the Monday scaries away and introduce you to two of our incredibly talented cast members!

We’re so excited to welcome Ian and Michele to First Date!

Ian is thrilled to be back onstage with First Date after appearing in productions like Legally Blonde, A Christmas Carol, Hairspray, and more. A familiar face in musical theatre, he brings heart, humor, and a whole lot of joy to everything he does—and he’s endlessly grateful for the people who support him along the way.

Michele is equally excited to reprise the role of Allison with this fantastic group. Recent highlights include starring as Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun and portraying a Naval nurse in South Pacific. A former Marine and lifelong performer, Michele brings authenticity, strength, and warmth to the stage—plus a great love of travel, fitness, and her dog, Chesty.

We can’t wait for you to see what these two bring to the table in First Date!

We’re thrilled to introduce Katie McManus (Casey) and Michael J. Martinkus (Aaron).The heart (and hilarious chaos) of First Date.

This dynamic duo recently took home Best Actress and Best Actor for their performances with Coal Creek Theatre Company of Louisville, and we can’t wait for you to see why.

Together, Katie and Mike bring Casey and Aaron to life in all their painfully awkward, endearing, and too-real glory.
