Join us for our September event! 🪩🎉

Wake up both sides of your brain and let your hands lead the way! In this playful visual journaling class, we’ll explore bilateral drawing and mirror cut-outs to loosen up and engage our attention in new ways. You’ll experiment with using both hands, mirroring shapes and movements, and creating with symmetry and reflection—all without worrying about making a “perfect” drawing. 

We’ll also explore the joy of creative collaboration through partner drawings, where each person responds to and reflects the other’s marks, turning drawing into a visual conversation. Expect to go home knowing how to play with positive and negative space, repetition, and unexpected compositions. No drawing experience is needed—just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to play!

Collaborative gouache painting was just what we needed! It was a great practice in letting go of thinking and just doing. We played, we added to each other’s work and we created mini masterpieces. Thanks ladies for a magical afternoon! 🫶🏼

Join us for an afternoon of collaborative gouache painting, creative play, and community. We’ll pass our journals around the table, adding to each other’s paintings and letting each piece evolve through many hands and perspectives.

This is less about making something perfect and more about experimenting, trusting the process, and creating something together!

We’re so excited to introduce Art Cart!

Open Door Art Club is teaming up with Oskar Blues to bring you a new monthly creative night for anyone who wants to make something, have a drink, and spend time with good people.

No art experience needed. Your favorite Open Door ladies will roll in with the Art Cart stocked with supplies, an optional monthly creative prompt, and enough guidance to get you started. Follow the project, experiment, or make something completely your own.

Your ticket includes:
• Access to all art materials
• Creative guidance (follow Open Door Art Club for monthly project sneak peeks)
• One Oskar Blues beer, Wild Basin, or Designated Dale’s NA drink

Our first Art Cart is Wednesday, August 26, from 6-8PM.

Advance tickets are $20. Walk-in tickets are $25, space permitting.

Art Cart is a monthly series, so if you can’t make this one or want to come back next month, you’ll find the full schedule and tickets at opendoorartclub.co/pages/art-cart.
