We still need your help! In order to make this a true Winterfest, we need content from YOU—our Bay Path Community!
Student Production Team Spotlight: "Jingle Bell Rock With Us!"
"Are you feeling the holiday blues? Well, let's shake 'em off by coming together and celebrating with a little bit of Jingle Bell Rock!
All we need from you is a 30-second-ish recording of yourselves lip-syncing or dancing to Jingle Bell Rock. You can boogie with your family or waltz around with your pets!
Student Production Team Spotlight: "Share a Performance"
"We are looking for folks in our BPU community who are willing to show-off their performative brilliance at Winterfest by submitting a short video performance.
If you sing, play an instrument, or dance (or all three!), please consider taking this opportunity to show-off— or —your talents!
If this sounds like something that excites you, please email Madison Harakles and Kristina Tran at [email protected] and [email protected] for more details on how you can be featured in this year's Winterfest Production!"
Student Production Team Spotlight: "Pandemic Positives"
"We are creating a reflection video to look back on this year and focus on the positive moments and hope for the future. To make this project happen, we need your help! We are asking members of our Bay Path Community to send in a short clip of themselves providing an answer to the question:
'What are you most proud of in 2020?'
These answers can be as simple as talking about a new skill you learned, or personal growth in a certain area. Even though there have been rough spots and negative changes for all of us, it is important to recognize the victories and the growth amidst these times and celebrate them.
Interested? Submit your videos to Emily Fontaine ([email protected]) by December 11th to be included in the 2020 Virtual Winterfest."
Student Production Team Spotlight: "How Do YOU Art?"
ATTN: All students, alums, and faculty/staff!
"In the midst of this pandemic, we would like to invite you to submit pictures of "how you art"—whether it be visual artwork you've created or past performances you've participated in—to be featured at our virtual Winterfest.
Our goal is to show why the arts are so important, and we hope that you consider helping us with this endeavor!"
Whether you’ve taken Chorale for 1 semester or 8 semesters or are a current student or alum, we would like to invite you to be a part of this year’s Virtual Winterfest!
We are looking to create the largest version of “Road Home”—our alumni song that we’ve been performing at the end of each Winterfest—that the Bay Path Community has ever seen! Set to a video created by our Winterfest Production Team, we are looking for alums of the Bay Path Chorale to submit audio recordings of themselves performing The Road Home.
Need a refresher on the music? Or are you a Chorale alum from before we’ve implemented this tradition? No worries! We are having a live Zoom rehearsal (by section) for folks that miss that good ol’ Chorale experience on Tuesday (12/8—tomorrow!) evening.
Can’t make it this Tuesday? Not a problem! Sheet music and lyrics can be found on our website, as well as tutorial videos that will help you learn your part → https://bit.ly/BPUChoirs
Ready to be a part of Bay Path’s largest “Road Home” performance at this year’s Virtual Winterfest? Send me (Bobby) an email at [email protected] to let me know!
