Wow! Can you believe we now have 40 vendors selling their wares this weekend during Vintage Days 2024 in historic downtown Long Grove! This is a record number of vendors and we are so excited for you join us July 27, 10am-6pm and July 28, 10am-5pm.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Long Grove Hometown Event, hosted by the Historic Downtown Long Grove Business Association with assistance from the Long Grove Lions Club
• Antique, crafts, handmade, vintage, upcycled and reclaimed dealers
• Outdoor, open-air street market
• Food Vendors
• Free admission and parking
• Shop, dine and explore our downtown businesses, many of which are incorporating vintage activities and specials for the weekend including:
+ Long Grove Historical Society Penny Carnival (Sunday, 12-2pm)
+ Craft Vendors and After Hours “Speakeasy” at Brothers' Field at (Saturday, starting at 6pm)
+ Visit the Sock Monkey Museum to see the world's largest collection of sock monkeys including vintage and antique pieces. Purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win "Banjo" a custom sock monkey created from vintage materials just for Vintage Days. All proceeds from ticket purchases benefit Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest.
+ Old fashioned fun with Ma & Pa's Candy as they spin various flavors of cotton candy on their patio for purchase.
+ Vintage and antique treasures for sale at Vintage Charm Homestead and Country House of Long Grove

Penny Carnival today from 12pm-2pm!
Kids 9 months (yes, that is right!!!) to 12 years old can play old time, simple and traditional games. Win coupons to turn in for fun prizes. The games begin at 12:00 PM and run until 2:00 PM on the front lawn of the Historical Society’s farmhouse, which is in the back corner of Stempel parking lot. Come join us for a fun, electronically unplugged afternoon.

New this year will be a mini “historic” scavenger hunt for kids 5-12 and mom and dad. Use clues to find at least three of the historic sites and take a photo while you are there – You will win free tickets to play more games at the penny carnival AND be entered into a raffle for some Long Grove treats. Clue sheets will be available beginning at 11:30 July 30 OR be available on our website in mid-to late July (long grove history.org).
