These innovators, which will primarily be made up of women in technology, developers, graphic designers, UX designers and creatives, will engage in a two day hackathon to work on websites and mobile apps that will solve problems faced by women globally. Wonder Women Hacks has partnered with the California Women’s Conference, the nation’s largest running two-day forum attracts over 100,000 attendee
s, to offer a unique opportunity to directly interact with the same shared mission to strengthen the personal and professional development of women everywhere. This will be the first ever women’s hackathon to be part of the California Women’s Conference in its 30 year existence! The hackathon will explore and engage in five fundamental elements of a balanced life that are essential to women. Hackers will develop technology solutions that will solve challenges in the following areas:
• Career Life: How can women manage their time better? What are technology solutions that will assist entrepreneurs and women-owned businesses to thrive and operate better? What solutions can be created to meet the ever changing needs of client retention and management for women in business? How can women balance their career life with the unique demands of family and personal life?
• Social Life: How can women enjoy a fulfilled and balanced social life? What are technology solutions that will enhance the personal wellbeing of women to connect and develop friendships with other women? What solutions can be created to support the social needs of women around the world?
• Financial Life: How can women discover opportunities to make more money and experience financial success? What are technology solutions that will assist in managing their flow effectively? What solutions can be created to meet the unique needs of women and how can they track revenue efficiently? How can women enjoy a balanced and prosperous financial life?
• Physical Life: How can women live a healthy and nutritionally balanced life? What are technology solutions that will assist women to achieve optimal physical health and endurance? What solutions can be created to meet the unique challenges of a physically active and inspired woman? How can women engage in a more physical and healthy lifestyle? What can be created to support women’s interest in sports and recreation? What solutions can be explored to enhance and nurture a physical experience? How can women become more inspired to pay attention to their physical and health needs?
• Community Life: How can women build healthy and prosperous communities? What are technologies that can support and facilitate the ever changing needs of women in communities, neighborhoods, groups, circles, families and networks around the world? What solutions can be created that will inspire women to build strong and flowing networks? How can women encourage other women to thrive and prosper? These five essential elements for the development of women will be integrated into a creative brainstorming session and hackathon event that will provide women the resources, tools and opportunity to achieve their full potential and live a balanced and invigorating life. The mission of Wonder Women Hacks is to create unique opportunities for women and teens in technology to build revolutionary products to meet the ever changing needs women across the planet.
