Hi Friends,
GO-FAME needs some help! Do you have a high school or college age person that needs some volunteer hours and or some cash?
We need to move some of the GO-FAME Theatre items out of our personal storage and into The smaller Go-Fame storage space. We need help!! Move needs to happen tomorrow Sunday, September 25th 10am to 4 pm!
I am looking for 4 strong people to move boxes from my home and one storage on the Circle in Long Beach to a storage space on Spring/Cerritos street in Los Alamitos. Just east of the high school.
Starting at 10 AM- ? We are hoping to get it done by 4 pm.
We will start at my house 5549 East Daggett loading stuff that has migrated to my House. Then we will split up and 2 people will go with Tom to the circle public storage to load boxes to be moved and 2 people will go with me to unload the house stuff into the Los Alamitos unit and assist unloading the truck when it arrives.
Then there will be more stuff loaded from my house into the vehicles. and we will be unloading some personal items into public storage and more stuff into the Go-Fame storage unit.
We will supply you with lunch, service hours if needed, and a thank you gift card.
If you have a vehicle we can load boxes into it should go even faster.

On June 8th, We moved the elephant that was donated to our theatre company GO-FAME to our back yard to rehab it

Hi Go-Fame kids this is a great opportunity to work withCrystal Baron. I highly recommend her classes. Keep those voices in shape!

In this one time class, students will learn how to warm up their voice in a healthy way for any type of singing.

I've got some very exciting news about this Summer.
MUSICAL THEATER WEST and GO-FAME have been working together to build a fun filled, theater learning experience for Youth age 8-18.
We will be offering three weeks of Summer Youth Conservatory. This day camp style experience will include teachers and staff from MUSICAL THEATER WEST AND GO-FAME.
Each day includes instruction, rehearsals for Frozen Jr. and workshops.
Topics include vocal training, dance, monologues, stage combat, auditioning, puppetry, costume and set designing, and stage makeup.
Frozen Jr will have 4 performances on the Cal State Long Beach, University Theater Stage.
This production will be fully staged with scenery and costumes.
Lots of wonderful parts and we are looking for a diverse cast of age 8 to 18 performers.

Time for our March fundraiser
See flyer below. Money raised will go towards operational expenses such as website and email, accounting and storage for our costumes and props.
We are on a brief hiatus this season while we reorganize and recruit new people for the program.
We will be working with Musical Theater West this summer to help produce their Summer Youth Conservatory. a Three week full day program that will include guest artist workshops, theatrical training, and rehearsals and 4 full scale performances of Frozen Jr.
Registrations will be available later next week.
