Clay is a full service ceramics studio in downtown Long Beach. The goal of clay is to start a pottery & DIY revolution. We have an updraft gas kiln and we we fire at a Cone 10 reduction which means that we have the top of the line equipment for your use. We are very affordable and we have plans that fit every price range. We host parties, and are good with kids.

LIBRARY OF TECHNICS will be facilitating a community cyanotype art project at the beach with some of the waste we’re collecting.

Parking:
There’s a paid parking lot at Alamitos Beach. If possible, please consider biking, walking, or carpooling to the cleanup.

Supplies:
We’ll have disposable trash bags and gloves available for volunteers. If you have reusable gloves, buckets, bags, or trash pickers/grabbers, please bring your own to help reduce waste and stretch our supplies even further.

Every bowl made helps reach the events goal of 500 bowls, benefitting Food for Kids.
