The Arts are essential to our community and funding is always a scramble. Have you enjoyed our free music and theater programs? Help us out for future seasons and please vote YES on Measure B. Here is some info:

A few comments about last week's column on Measure A made me realize some folks don't understand that this particular space includes my opinion, and my opinion only.

Please be aware that parking at the Amphitheater is limited. We recommend walking, Ubering, or biking. There is street parking, and parking at Cesar Chavez elementary school on 3rd and Golden. See you soon!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CITIES WITH FULLY FUNDED PERFORMANCES!
Drumroll please...thank you to the audiences and sponsors who raised enough money to fully fund their performances:

Hermosa Beach- 121% funded
Santa Monica- 120% funded
MIssion Viejo- 106% funded
Rossmoor- 104% funded
Torrance- 103% funded
San Pedro (first 12 performances only)- 100% funded

This is wonderful, but it also means that we have a funding gap for the season that we need to raise. Please consider making a donation to help us continue to bring admission-free Shakespeare to you year after year. Thank you for your support!

We are thrilled to welcome a program from Jewel Box Children's Theater designed to educate young folk about the importance of women's suffrage and the importance of civic engagement. Bring your children for crafting and singing, then join the adults for Tea with Alice and Me later in the evening.
