Dick and I are getting ready to attend our church's (Trinity Church of the Nazarene's) weekly buffet dinner, followed by its "Connect" groups where we each have the chance to get to know our fellow parishioners while engaging in meaningful discussions aabout the previous week's sermon.

Last Friday, Aug. 17, would have been my mother's birthday -- the day before her mother's--my grandmother's! In their honor, I'd like to commend to you the attached video in which each plays a prominent role! Please be sure your sound is on and up, especially if you like the Big Bands of the 30 's through the 70's, and because when I talk in this video and in others I sound normal at least to me!!!!!

Helen and John, married in the 30's, had four children -- 2 boys and 2 girls. This is their story and that of their children.
