Shamus Productions is a one (maybe 2 with my son helping on occasion) man operation.
Small and portable. Fast setup time. Always courteous and professional and on time. Usually early, especially when going into a new place. Lights add a little time to the set up of course, but not much.
Having the PA, Monitors, most mics set up and checked before the band gets there is our goal. Time and location permitting.
Providing for backyard parties to small bars to medium size stages, to being the Horizon Bands Audio tech. Its been a busy & fun year.
I am content with my current system, which is good for 200-250 people.
2 RCF ART932a 12" 2-way 2100w
2 RCF ART735a 15" 2-way 1400w (optional)
2 RCF SUB705A 15" Sub-woofer 1400w
1 ALTO SX Sub 15" Sub-woofer 1600w (optional)
6 ALTO TS310 10" Monitors 1200w
1 Beheringer X32 Digital Rack Mount Mixer
1 Behringer SD16 Digital Snake
Shure, Sennheiser, Audix & AKG mics.
2 Light Trees - 4 LED PAR Ea.
The typical set up is the ART932a on top of the SUB705a on each side. Being able to put the speakers on stands and place the subs in the front of the stage is actually best for optimal sound, but many factors help determine the best placement.
Very clear sounding with the 700mhz crossover frequency of the tops. Projects well. I can just about double the size of my system by adding the optional 735's and SX Sub.
In the picture is the band Horizon with my PA. At this show I ran the subs stage right in an end fire array. I like to try things. Sounded great.
Have A Great DAY!!!
