It's been a year since the Lolo Peak Fire nearly knocked the Purcell Ranch off the map. This week, Joe is traveling through Montana supporting firefighting efforts on another deadly blaze with the USFS.

We're lucky to still be here, and our hearts go out to all those battling another devastating fire season. Love from the Purcell Ranch!

Our Story

Tucked away in Lolo, Montana, just 20 minutes outside of Missoula, the Purcell Ranch is an idyllic working ranch, farm, and event venue. Spanning over 170 acres on the hills of Lolo Peak, the Ranch grows and sources veggies and pork to local restaurants; hosts weddings, retreats, and other events; offers hunting and environmental visits; and organizes community events such as our annual Christmas tree giveaways for neighbors in need. As committed conservationists and partners of the Natural Resource Conservation Service, Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks, Bitterroot Resource Conservation and Development Service, and Montana Farm Services, the Purcell Ranch is honored to have been awarded the 2017 Montana Good Neighbor Land Stewardship Award. Whether for an afternoon of hunting or a celebration of marriage - we hope you'll join us at the Ranch soon!
