Well... some of you suggested we paint the poles red.

So, did we actually do it? Or is someone having a little fun with photo editing?

I guess there's only one way to find out. Come visit the carousel and see for yourself. And while you're here, you might as well take a ride.

Tickets are just $2 per person, and every ride helps support and preserve our historic carousel for future generations.

So what do you think? Real makeover or just a little satire? We'd love to hear your guesses. We can't wait to see you

Don't worry we didn't paint anything. I was editing some other posts, and I thought, why not make the poles red and see what people say. Also, we're hoping that you would stop by to see that the polls weren't red and then ride the Carousel 😊

Alright, you all came pretty close to guessing what we're doing the first four days of July. I'm actually surprised! We even snuck a little hint into our Facebook story this morning. Did you catch it?
That's right! Each day from July 1 through July 4 will be a fun themed day leading up to the Fourth of July. The Parks Department has some great activities planned too, so be sure to check out their page.
And yes, the Carousel will have cotton candy available 4th of July.

We can't wait to see everyone join in and have fun with the themed days. Dress up, get creative, and come make some memories with us!

From July 1st through July 4th, all you have to do is stop by the Carousel and join in on the fun.

Any guesses what we're planning?

Here's a little hint... you might want to start thinking about what's in your closet. 😉

Did you know that our Carousel is a nonprofit organization and a National Historic Landmark, in 1987.

Sometimes people wonder why we charge $2 per rider or why we hold fundraisers and accept donations. The answer is simple: every dollar goes back into preserving and maintaining this incredible piece of history for future generations.

Keeping a historic carousel running isn't as simple as flipping a switch. It requires ongoing maintenance, restoration, inspections, insurance, utilities, and the care needed to protect a 1 of 2 special landmark.

Our affordable $2 ride helps make those things possible while still allowing families to create lasting memories without spending a fortune.

When you ride the carousel, attend one of our fundraisers, or make a donation, you're not just buying a ticket you're helping preserve a treasured part of our community's history.

We know the nice weather has everyone wanting to get outside, go on adventures, and maybe even spend some time swimming. But don't forget that Riverside Park has a lot to offer! Enjoy the playground, pickleball courts, walking trails,Putt Putt and of course, the Carousel & train.

The train runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, weather permitting.
