First artist to take the stage at Art on the Avenue will be Mike Almon, 11am on September 18 at Fairview Park in Logansport, In.

Mike is an artist from Logansport (originally Peru) that offers a unique entertainment experience performing genres of the 50, 60, 70s in soft rock, Americana, country, current hits along with his originals. Mike played over 265 shows last year. Sprinkled with his quick wit and wide variety of genres, a good time is always guaranteed!

A key feature on the State’s former box office (installed in the 1970s we believe, and removed today as crews prepare to restore the facade and return the box office to the center as it was originally designed) was saved!

Watch for an auction of this item to begin soon, which will help fund the restoration of the two main poster frames on the front of the theatre and two additional ones that were part of the original design (one on the east side of the entrance that’s been boarded up for years and one on the west side of the entrance that was covered by the aforementioned box office)!
