“WINGS”, a very special theatre group for very special Logansport High School students, made their debut with the Junior High School Thespian Group #89415 to a half full house at McHale Performing Arts Center (PAC) on February 21st, 2020. “WINGS” was founded and is directed by Lisa Terry and is funded by the Cass County Community Foundation. This cast was a big hit with the audience and continued with weekly rehearsals. Soon after, with several local touring productions scheduled for “WINGS”, Covid 19 hit and the shows were cancelled and put on hold.
On November 20th at 7pm at McHale PAC “WINGS” again will perform along with the Logansport Junior High School Drama Club and Logansport High School Drama Club in the LCSC Thespian Showcase directed by Chris Pearcy, Blair Bailey, Grant Howerton, and Tony Kinney. The showcase will feature a variety of student performances including improvisations, vocal solos/duets, monologues, and scene work.
Also featured will be an original short educational play, about the Opioid crisis,
“We Are the Champions”, that was written and directed by Lisa Terry.
Cost to attend is a free will donation at the door. Masks are required as well as social distancing protocols.
All donations will be made at the door.
