Decided to cave when I found out that my local theater was showing it. Haven't caught up with the series after the fast food episode, so this'll be interesting.

Species: Nguma-Monene
Clade: Spinosauridae
Diet: Carnivorous/Piscivorous
Size: 40 ft
Habitat: Rivers and Wetlands
Threat Level: 5/5 (Highly Lethal)
Group Orientation: Solitary
Fun Facts:

Nguma-Monene is a semiaquatic theropod dinosaur and a surviving member of the spinosaur lineage. It has regressed to a quadruped body plan to better adapt to life in the water. It's heavy and bulky in build which allows it to take down large prey and challenge other members of its kind.

Armed with thick, curved claws on each forelimb, Nguma-Monene hunt their prey by using these scythe-like claws to hook their victims before using their tusk-like teeth to pierce through the flesh. The majority of its diet consists of fish and smaller animals, but it will occasionally hunt larger prey in times when there is a lack of options.

Nguma-Monene's name comes from the Lingala language meaning "large python". Only a handful of known testimonials are known to exist, one of them by pastor Joseph Ellis near the Dongu-Mataba in the Republic of the Congo in 1971. He spotted the visible part of the tail and estimated it to be 10 meters long, but he saw neither the neck nor head. While searching for the Mokele-Mbembe, University of Chicago biologist Roy P. Mackal led two expeditions to the Likouala swamps in the Republic of the Congo and concluded that Nguma-Monene was more like a lizard than a snake, as Ellis was "Positive that the animal never raised itself sufficiently after leaving the water."
