Story Time is back this Friday at Zootah!

Come meet our brand-new chinchillas and help us choose their names!

These three adorable boys are about 1 year old and are settling into their new home here at Zootah. Chinchillas are famous for their incredibly soft fur—it's actually some of the densest fur in the animal kingdom, helping keep them warm in their native habitat, the Andes Mountains.

Now it's your turn to join the fun! Voting is officially open, and every $1 donation counts as one vote. Love a name? Vote as many times as you'd like to help your favorite come out on top!

Happy Zookeeper Appreciation Week! 🐾

Today we're celebrating the incredible team behind the scenes who make Zootah such a special place.

Our zookeepers work every day, rain or shine, to provide the highest level of care for our animals. From preparing specialized diets and cleaning habitats to creating enrichment activities, monitoring animal health, and educating our guests, they do it all with passion and dedication.

Their hard work often happens before the zoo opens and long after the last guest leaves, but their impact can be seen in every healthy animal and every memorable visit.

If you see one of our keepers during your next visit, be sure to say thank you! We are so grateful for everything they do to care for the animals we all love.

🇺🇸🎉 Happy Fourth of July from your friends at Zootah!

Our lemurs kicked off the holiday with their own BBQ enrichment, and judging by these photos and videos, we'd say it was a huge success! We hope your celebration is just as fun (and just as delicious)!

If you're looking for something fun to do this holiday weekend, come spend the day with us! There's plenty to see, lots of animals to enjoy, and memories waiting to be made. We are open Monday - Saturday from 10 - 6 and Sunday from 12 - 6.

We're also proud to continue celebrating our military families! Through July 14, all active-duty military, veterans, and their immediate families receive 20% off zoo admission as our way of saying thank you for your service.

As you celebrate tonight, please help protect our community and the wildlife we all love by using fireworks responsibly. Following local restrictions, use fireworks only where they're permitted, and make sure they're completely extinguished before leaving the area. Together, we can help reduce the risk of wildfires and keep everyone safe.
