Why the long face?

Because today is our last weekday open for the season!
But no need to look quite so sad! We’re not going anywhere just yet! Starting tomorrow, the farm will be open Saturdays & Sundays from 10–5.
And even if the skies are a little gray today, the animals are still ready and waiting to see you. Come spend your Friday at the farm. Our petting zoo and gem mining are open 10–5 today!

The farm will be CLOSED tomorrow, Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
We’re trading a day of feeding animals and greeting guests for a day of fun with our awesome crew!
Our staff has put so much into this summer, and we’re incredibly grateful for the care, energy and hard work they bring to the farm every day. Tomorrow is our chance to treat them for a change and enjoy a well-deserved day together!
We feel pretty lucky to have such an amazing group of people helping us make the farm what it is, and we can’t wait to celebrate them!
We’ll be back Wednesday at 10:00 am!

It may not be sunny today but it’s still a great day to come visit us at the farm!
The animals are ready for visitors, the feed cones are waiting…and Kevin would like to personally let everyone know that our gift shop is stocked with all kinds of those viral dumplings and cubes everyone is loving right now!
Come spend a little time with the animals, do some shopping, and enjoy a day at the farm. And Kevin says you really should check out the gift shop before you leave.

We're excited to officially introduce our flock of chickens! They're almost 15 weeks old and have been busy growing into a beautiful (and entertaining!) bunch.
Our flock of 17 includes:
• Dark Brahmas
• Speckled Sussex
• Lavender Orpingtons
• Splash Laced Red Wyandottes
• Black Ameraucanas
• Fibro Easter Eggers

If you’ve visited Fox’s High Rock Farm, you may not have met Angie yet. She lives under the alpaca water trough, where she considers herself Head of Amphibian Relations.🐸
Every morning she pops out to inspect the alpacas, supervise water quality, and silently judge anyone who walks by without saying hello.
Lately, Angie has repeatedly requested to become an official petting zoo attraction. Unfortunately, management has had to explain that frogs are a little too slippery for the petting area.
Angie insists she’s just as cute as the baby goats, quieter than the donkeys, and eats way more flies than anyone else in the barnyard.
So if you’re visiting the farm, keep an eye out under the alpaca water trough. If you spot Angie, give her a friendly wave (please don’t relocate her-she’s already claimed squatter’s rights here on the farm).

We asked everyone to dress for the occasion...
Smokey may not be thrilled to be wearing her red, white and blue but she will be thrilled to see you when you visit the farm!
