This is an old saying I have had for years and it still is true today. This saying is one of the reasons I make cards. Do you make cards? Would you make cards if they were fast and simple? Would you send them if you knew where to buy them?

These overcast, dreary, rainy days have me reaching for my paper, stamps, and ink!

I’ve been spending some of these gray days making cards and sending a little happy mail out into the world. There’s something about creating something with my hands and knowing it might bring a smile to someone else that brings me joy.

But now I want to hear from YOU!

What have you been doing on these overcast, dreary days?

Staying cozy in bed?
Reading by the fireplace?
Curling up with a good cup of coffee?
Or maybe trudging out the door to work?

Whatever it is, share with me what has brought you a little joy during these very rainy days. I’d love to hear what you’ve been up to!

I love creating and sending cards—it brings me so much joy! And I love receiving them too, whether they’re handmade or store-bought. There’s just something special about getting a little happy mail in your mailbox.

I also use a journal and planner every day, and I love decorating them each month. I had so much fun with this adorable girls set that I actually used it to decorate my planner for two different months! I loved those girls that much!

Then this week, THIS card showed up in my mailbox! I have a feeling Michelle heard me talk about how much I love those girls and knew exactly what would make me smile.

Thank you, Michelle! I absolutely LOVE it!

Happy Mail Day! When was the last time you got Happy Mail?

See why the Madison library helps me with living. In the comments is the link to help with raising money for Gilda's Club that helps anyone going through cancer and their support people. It is a haven for me.

I was cleaning through things—yes, still and again, I’m cleaning through things!—and found these cute cards to make up, so I spent some time putting them together this weekend.

I didn’t use the stamp that came with the kit. I just used a simple “Thanks” because that’s what I needed to send.

But WOW… don’t you love the sparkle?! A little bit of sparkle just makes a card feel extra special!

Now I’m wondering… do you have card kits sitting around that you need to put together? I know I have a bunch—some boxed kits and some kits I made for classes.

Would you be interested in a Christmas Card Class where we make cards together?
Or
Would you rather have me make the Christmas cards for you?

Tell me in the comments! I’d love to know what you prefer.

And remember… YOU MATTER!
