I make my soaps with clear glycerin soap & white glycerin soap. It is a sold block & I cut down, melt, add color, fragrance, herbs, spices, teas & milks to. I also add a small amount of soy wax, this helps to keep the soap just a bit more firm, so it doesn't melt to quickly. Clear soap ingredients: Propylene Glycol, Sorbitol, Water, Sodium Stearate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Myristate, Sodium Laurate, Triethanolamine, Glycerin. Please see link below for explanation of ingredients. White soap base ingredients: Sorbitol, Propylene Glycol, Water, Sodium Stearate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Myristate, Sodium Laurate, Triethanolamine, Glycerin, Titanium Dioxide. Please see link below for more info. Colors I use liquid dyes or color blocks. I can look up which number is used for each one if you need me to. example my purple liquid dye contains: Water, Propylene Glycol, Benzophenone-4, Triethanolamine, Tetrasodium EDTA, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Ext Violet 2. Blue soap color bar contains: Propylene Glycol, Sorbitol, Glycerin, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Stearate, Sodium Myristate, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Triethanolamine, Water, Blue 1, Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, EDTA, Benzophenone 4. gold & siver sparkle powder: Mica (and) Titanium Dioxide (and) Iron Oxides
soy wax: Glycine Soja (Soy) Wax
I highly recommend the website “Toms of Maine” for an explanation of the ingredients used in soap and cosmetics.
