Dripped On The Road

We’re always super thankful to the local organizations and businesses that open their doors to us on the road. Caffe Amadeus in Indiana PA brought us a breakfast basket and hot coffee every morning of our 2020 Program! We can’t thank them enough for that kindness!

Creating a safe program in 2020 during the Covid19 Pandemic was quite the endeavor not only for the DOTR directors, but also for the resident artists and the local organizers as well. As the program came to fruition and all the stars aligned, it was demonstrated that it is in fact “a wonderful life”.

In addition to planting trees, the 2020 Program in Indiana PA also used SMOG ARMOR paint, a paint that absorbs carbon pollutants and VOCs from the air!

Painting an average-sized room with Smog Armor reduces as much carbon dioxide from the air as 12 mature trees! For 5 years, 2020-2025 the paint attracted and eliminated harmful pollutants from the air!

Our program always strives to participating in activations and activities, within the local communities we visit, that go beyond painting murals.

In Blairsville, PA we teamed up with the River Valley School District to plant 100+ trees on one of their school campuses!
