Session one complete on this Icelandic nature scape! Modeled after a village called “Vík” in Iceland, known for its famous black volcanic sand, rock formations, and basalt columns: we added a fire to represent her feeling at peace there. Ironically, you’re actually not allowed down to the beach here because you could literally die 🤣 but people sneak down to enjoy its beauty and we can play pretend right!?!

On the next session we’ll be adding some warm oranges/yellows/red to the fire and a glowing warm yellow sunset to really set the mood. But I’m happy with where we got today 🙏

If you were gonna get a place tattooed on you, where would it be? And also, can I be the one to do it? 🥹 I love tattooing nature scapes. Bob Ross is my hero 🥹

Hello family! Important update for today’s Walk-in Wednesday (8/5)

Our front desk staff will be out for the week on vacation, Ozzy has departed for his regularly scheduled leave (he will return in September/October), Mindy is out sick and Brittany has appointments today 😮‍💨🤣 So, we only have one artist available for walk-in’s (Parker)-however he is not available until 2PM due to an appointment.

Our piercer Carlie will also be available for walk-ins.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. We do offer walk-ins every Wednesday and generally have more availability but today slightly limited and we ask for your patience 🙏

Hey everyone — Brittany here, owner of Pinch-N-Poke.

If you’ve visited us before, you’ve probably met my mom or my aunt behind the front counter. We’re proudly a family-owned business, and they work hard to make everyone who walks through our doors feel welcome.

I wanted to make a quick post because we’ve recently had several situations involving our “No Minors Without Appointment” policy.

This sign has been posted on our front door for over two years, and we ask that everyone please take a moment to read it before entering.

Our policy isn’t meant to inconvenience anyone. It’s in place for several important reasons:
• The safety of your child.
• The safety of our artists and clients.
• Health and liability requirements in a tattoo and piercing studio.
• Maintaining a calm environment where artists can focus on their work.

Tattoo studios contain biohazard materials, sharp instruments, glass displays, expensive artwork, and other hazards that simply aren’t appropriate for unsupervised children. Scheduled appointments allow us to prepare for minors and ensure they can be safely accommodated.

If you arrive with a minor who does not have an appointment, our staff will kindly remind you of our policy. While we understand that not everyone notices every sign, it’s not appropriate to become upset with our staff for enforcing a clearly posted rule. They’re simply doing their job and upholding a long-standing shop policy—not making it up on the spot. We ask that our team be treated with the same kindness and respect they show every customer.

We absolutely welcome minors for scheduled tattoo and piercing appointments. We simply ask that they remain with their parent or guardian at all times and are respectful of the studio while they’re here.

Thank you for helping us keep our studio safe and enjoyable for everyone, and thank you for taking a moment to read the signs posted before entering. We truly appreciate it.

Today is day 2 of our summer bash event! The line has already started and the sun is shining. We have over 600 designs and 5 artist ready to go! (Brittany included) We’ll be accepting walk-in’s until 8PM!

Please note: there will be a wait for piercings unless you’re first in line (we only have one piercer for this event, our lovely Carlie Rose). With that said: once she hits her limit we will make a post letting you all know that she cannot accept more piercings. Stay alert on our page for updates.

Also, please have a 2nd piercing in mind. Some piercings require anatomy checks and yesterday some anatomy’s were not suited for the desired piercings. We would be happy to assist you with another one so you can still enjoy the discounts!

We had 4 free piercing winners and almost everyone spun more than 20% off yesterday-come down and spin the wheel! It’s our biggest savings of the year 🙏

Ps-did I mention the taco truck will be here today? Come see Mama Martina’s for some good food! Permanent jewelry by Momoyu Otsu, and face painting for the kiddos outside!

Hey friends! Brittany here.

We are unable to accommodate any more piercings today. If anyone was turned away and was unaware of the unavailability upon arrival please send us a message so we can accommodate you at a later date. I should have made a post about that and that’s all on me for not making it known. I apologize if this inconvenienced anyone. ❤️

We will be ending walk-in tattoos at 8PM, so as long as you’re here by then we will still be able to accommodate you!

Come on down and enjoy the amazing deals we have in over 600 designs and tons of jewelry/piercing specials! We also have free face painting and temporary tattoos for the kids, hair braiding, and permanent jewelry by Momoyu Otsu in house! Everyone’s been super busy, but things are running so much smoother this year and we are able to accommodate more people!

If you can’t make it today, we’ll also be here until 8pm tomorrow night to make sure everyone gets a chance to join. See you soon!
