CUPS & CANVAS SUMMER CLUB 🎨
Wednesdays 1-3pm through July and August
Adults and Kids welcome
$15 per person per 2 hour open studio session, including access to a wide range of art supplies
CREATIVE KIDS ART CLUB 👩🎨
Wednesdays 10:30am-12pm July & August
Ages 5-12, $15 per person per 1.5 hour class
Fun and unique art projects to learn the 7 elements of art, All materials included
CREATIVE READERS CLUB 📚
Tuesdays & Thursdays 10:30am-12pm through July & August, Ages 5-12, $15 per 1.5 hour class
Fun and fast-paced crash course through reading fundamentals for emergent and remedial readers, including tons of beloved storybooks and creative art projects!

Come to one class, or come to all! There is a discount if all classes are reserved up front.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR: Katherine Montefusco is a local artist and former teacher who strongly believes that building strong literacy skills and encouraging creative expression are both fundamental aspects of an effective education. In other words, she wants to help learners become enthusiastic artists and readers! Katherine holds a B. A. in Language Arts with a minor in Elementary Education, as well as a B. S. in Elementary Mathematics Education from Madonna University. She holds state of Michigan teaching certification in K-8 math education, K-8 language arts education, and elementary education, as well as caregiving certification. More importantly, she is excited to utilize the resources, environment, and training she has been given to support local families in their educational journeys this summer 🎨❤️
Here are some other important considerations for this year’s summer programs:
-Creative Kids Art Club and Creative Readers Workshop are summer learning programs facilitated by Katherine Montefusco through K. Montefusco Fine Art LLC, hosted at Faith Bible Church of Farmington Hills, MI. These courses are not sponsored by Faith Bible Church nor do they directly represent Faith Bible Church.
-Payments should be made out to K. Montefusco Fine Art LLC, which accepts cash, check, venmo, or debit/credit card via Square. K. Montefusco Fine Art will cover the 6% Michigan sales tax if payment is made via cash.
-Announcements about the events will be made within the event page on the page for K. Montefusco Fine Art; I can communicate via text as well if requested and contact is provided.
-Katherine can be reached via text anytime at 248-231-1864 and will try to get back to you within 24 hours.
-The $15 per class fee will apply to each student, but parents/guardians with other non-participating children are welcome to bring those children as long as they are minimally disruptive to the class.
-Parents/guardians are expected to stay for the duration of the class unless otherwise arranged beforehand.
-All guests must honor the hosting location, Faith Bible Church, by respecting the property. Guests are responsible for any damages they cause.
-There will be space and seating for a reasonable number of guests, with a maximum capacity of 25 participating students. After 25 participating students are checked in, the class will not be able to accept any more students and an alternative, additional class time may be established.
-K. Montefusco Fine Art LLC reserves the right to request that guests leave if determined necessary for any reason.
-For participating students, all necessary course materials will be provided by K. Montefusco Fine Art LLC. Guests are invited to freely use art materials as long as they responsibly help clean up messes they make in the creative process 🖌️
