On Sunday, May 17, the Michigan Jazz Festival held our first of two important fundraisers. Each year, the festival organizes a High School All-Star jazz band, comprised of outstanding musicians recruited from band directors around the State of Michigan. This year, under the direction of MJF Board Member Dave Jensen, this great band performed at Three Cats Café in Clawson. They will also perform at the FREE Michigan Jazz Festival, held all day on Sunday, July 19 at Schoolcraft College. Here are the outstanding photos of Jeff Dunn.
