Children's Theatre of Livingston (CTL) proudly presents Junie B. Jones, the Musical JR., this weekend in Livingston. This upbeat musical story is based on the fun children's book series by Barbara Parks. Its about a 1st grade girl navigating being a kid in school. As you might imagine, she learns about friendship, overcoming challenges, and how much fun it can be to work as a team. The music is fantastic, and the show is being acted by 45 enthusiastic, talented 2nd to 5th graders from Livingston. It's one act, less than one hour, and I promise it will make your heart smile. Its a great family event and the perfect way to introduce young children to the joy of live theater. We have limited tickets for each show, Saturday and Sunday, 12:30 and 3:30 at the Eastman Corporate Center, 290 West Mt. Pleasant Avenue in Livingston. Tickets are $15.00 and should be ordered in advance with this link.

Children’s Theatre of Livingston (CTL) is thrilled to present Junie B. Jones The Musical JR., a student version of the witty and charming show , which was adapted from the Junie B. Jones' series of best-selling books by Barbara Park. The musical follows the adventures of a precocious girl named Junie B. as she nervously faces the beginning of first grade. The show features forty-five Livingston elementary students who come together to perform a heartwarming show that follows a tremendously loveable girl as she learns that “growing up is scary, but it’s also kinda fun.”

The shows are about an hour long, one-act, on Saturday, March 21, at 12:30 and 3:30, and Sunday, March 22, at 12:30 and 3:30, and is the perfect way to introduce youngsters to the joy of theatre. The show is performed at the Eisenhower Corporate Center, 290 W. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston. Tickets are on sale now at the pre-sale price until March 8; after that, the price goes up.

Are you looking for something creative for your child? Based on demand, we are opening an additional THEATER ACTING CLASS on Sunday from 10:15-11:15. Classes for children in grades 2-5 open Sunday, September 7th.

This fun one-hour class includes acting, role play, theater games, audition skills, and show skits, and lots of interesting improv. This is a great introduction to theater and an even better way for our experienced actors to fine-tune their skills.

Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. We also have a few openings in our Wednesday class from 4:30-5:30 PM
