To some, FFA means showing animals. There is so much more to this organization though. Congratulations Nikki — for earning your Lone Star Degree!

I’m so proud of this dancer for earning the HIGHEST degree a member can earn at the STATE LEVEL, showcasing a high level of commitment and achievement. It recognizes students who have demonstrated EXCEPTIONAL dedication, leadership, and achievement within the FFA organization.

Thank you, Nikki, for setting such an amazing example for so many girls. Keep being awesome.

To the amazing people of this community,

I want to share some personal news, along with my deepest gratitude for the support, encouragement, and trust of so many of you.

After much thought and prayer, I’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to close the studio. This has not been an easy choice as teaching dance and watching girls grow into strong, confident young women has been one of the greatest joys of my life. But recently, I realized that after dancing for the past fifty years, it’s time to take a break.

Twenty-four years ago, my purpose of opening Studio C was to enrich this community through the arts, but as it turns out, it was you that gave me the greatest gift -- the opportunity to be a part of your children’s lives. This has been so much more than a job. It’s been my passion and a dream come true.

To every family who chose Studio C for your daughters when there were so many other options for after-school activities—thank you. It has meant the world to me to be part of their journey. Watching them grow not just as dancers, but as determined, resilient young ladies that have learned to show up, to try again and again, to push through hard things, and to believe in themselves has been one of the most rewarding experiences I could ever have imagined.

After twenty-four years in the same building, I’m discovering so many treasures from so very long ago. I will continue posting for a while to share what I find. You will be amazed.

And although “thank you” doesn’t seem adequate for your incredible support, encouragement, and trust, please know I am truly thankful to each of you for being part of this incredible chapter in my life. My cup runneth over.
