The Burial at Thebes/Antigone is a story of a woman standing up against authoritarianism, about a natural law and common morality vs. the dictates of a man who puts himself above the law, about the complicity of the silent, and about the many moments when we could choose to act with empathy and defiance, but fail to do so.
