The Blue Slipper Theatre is proud to announce our amazing cast for “The Burial at Thebes,” directed and designed by Marc Beaudin, with Merin Coats stage managing.
The role of “Antigone” will be played by Victoria Ouellette.
Rae Brooks will play Antigone’s sister “Ismene” as well as the queen, “Eurydice.”
Neil Murphy portrays the king of Thebes, “Creon.”
His son “Haimon” will be played by Benjamin Morales.
Katie Mangett will play the blind seer “Tiresias.”
Our “Chorus” will be performed by Fiona Shinn, Keirria Herold and Annika Coleman. Herold will also appear as the “Messenger.”
Rounding out the cast as the Guards are Kaz Hall and Milo Stevens, who also plays the “Guide” to Tiresias.
“The Burial at Thebes” is poet Seamus Heaney’s adaptation of Sophocles’ “Antigone.” Performances are October 2 – 11; Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm, and Sundays at 3 pm. Tickets are available at blueslipper.org.
