Twenty years of SPARC and we are celebrating on the 20th of every month all year long! 🎉
This month, we are highlighting our wonderful improv teacher, Mark!
MARK DUNCANSON is the fearless lead teaching artist of SPARC’s Adult Improv education series! Mark is a BATS School of Improv graduate who started his improv career in Liquid Soap, an episodic improvised soap opera. Since then, he has made a point of injecting improv into his professional life from the YMCA and Volunteer Center of Alameda County to his work at the Firehouse Arts Center in Pleasanton as Recreation Supervisor, retired. Mark’s played with BATS Improv, How We First Met, Un-Scripted Theater Company, Leela, Center Rep, and more. In addition to being a permanent company member with the internationally renowned Improv Playhouse of San Francisco. Mark is also an improv teaching artist and director in the Tri-Valley at California High School, T.E.A.M. Theatre in Pleasanton, and SPARC Theater in Livermore.
