🎨 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: MOOLoon ART & CROCHET 🎨

Meet one of the youngest artists at this year’s ArtWalk! 💕🎨

At just 11 years old, Mooloon is a second-generation Livermorian and has been an art lover since she was 5. She loves experimenting with watercolor and acrylic paint, and her creativity doesn’t stop there!

Her artwork ranges from painted self-portraits, animals and colorful sunsets to balloon art and crochet creations. 🧶🎈🎨

We love seeing young artists like Mooloon sharing their creativity with the community—and you can discover her work at the 25th Annual ArtWalk this Saturday!

More than 200 artists will fill Downtown Livermore, with even more happening throughout the day:

🐘✨ IT’S A BIG DAY! ✨🐘

The elephants are arriving! 🐘 Today marks the exciting installation of The Great Elephant Migration in Livermore, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to watch this incredible herd make its way into our community. 🌎💛

Keep your eyes peeled as these magnificent sculptures take their places throughout Livermore. We can’t wait to see them transform our city and spark conversations about wildlife, conservation, and the power of art.

The Great Elephant Migration is here! 🐘🎉

THE ELEPHANTS ARE COMING! 🐘

This Saturday, October 10, The Great Elephant Migration arrives in Downtown Livermore! 🎉

Thirty life-size elephant sculptures, handcrafted by Indigenous artisans in India from invasive lantana plants, will make their way through Downtown Livermore as part of this incredible public art experience. 🌿🐘

This free exhibition brings art, conservation, culture, and a powerful message of coexistence to our community.

Come see the herd, explore Downtown, snap a photo, and experience something truly unforgettable.

Meet Big Bay Ray, creating one-of-a-kind handmade bags and totes from recycled feed bags—giving materials a new life while helping support horse and donkey rescue organizations.

Each piece is handcrafted by volunteers using donated materials, so every bag is truly unique. And the story behind Big Bay Ray goes all the way back to Ray, a rescued horse whose life inspired the organization’s mission.
