Wonderful program on Monday night! If you weren't able to attend, we hope you can make the next one. We are so blessed to have such talent in our area and people who work to bring it to our community throughout the year. Thank you to the Lawson Trio for coming out and performing for us. We thoroughly enjoyed it! And thanks to our volunteers for providing the food for the reception afterwards.

The wonderful (and FREE) Friends of Music Concerts in Live Oak begin next Monday, Oct. 13. Everybody is invited to the concert and the reception and appetizers afterward. P.S. special surprise: a guest violist only 12- years old, will be performing.

In addition to our wonderful series of entertainment acts, we are all invited to a series in Live Oak, centered around classical performances and offered by the Friends of Music -- all six performances for FREE; open to the public with no tickets required.

Bill and Linda Poplin, organizers of the Friends of Music Concert Series in Live Oak, share the line-up for the 2025-2026 season. This is a free concert series held at the Covenant First Presbyterian Church in Live Oak. The opening concert features the well-known classical Lawson Trio (viola, violin, and cello) plus two guest violinists, the younger of whom is just 12 years old. The concert is Monday, October 13, 7:30 pm. Following the concert is a free reception. Other performances in the series include both a religious Christmas and Easter program, a chamber ensemble featuring the harpsicord, the University of Florida Chamber Singers, and a classical pianist.
