Affordable Arts Festival named
Number One Arts Festival in the country
The ranking by Sunshine Artist Magazine
is based on the sales of artwork
Denver, CO (August 2024) – The Affordable Arts Festival (www.AffordableArtsFestival.com) is proud to announce that it has been ranked as the number one art festival in the country by Sunshine Artist Magazine. The ranking is based on the average sales of artwork per artists who participate in the festival. Sunshine Artist Magazine has been a resource for artists and art shows for over 50 years.
This year’s Affordable Arts Festival will take place on August 25 from 9am to 3pm at Arapahoe Community College, located at 5900 South Santa Fe Drive in Littleton.
“Considering the hundreds of art festivals that take place across the country every year, it’s a tremendous honor to achieve this ranking, especially when it comes to something as important as sales for artists,” said Jim DeLutes, founder and director of the Affordable Arts Festival. “Not only does the festival support artists, but it also opens-the-door to original, fine artwork that people may not be able to otherwise afford and bring into their home. I take a great deal of pride in all that the Affordable Arts Festival has continued to accomplish over the years. It’s also worth mentioning that this is the only show in the country offering high priced art for $150 or less.”
Artwork worth thousands of dollars is priced at $150 (or less), as over 160 renowned artists from across the nation attend the festival every year. Money is also raised for art students via the Arapahoe Community College Foundation’s Scholarship Fund from the $12 admission fee. Since its inception, the festival has raised more than $290,000 in scholarship money for the Arapahoe Community College.
