Bring the magic of Christmas to life on stage and audition for A Christmas Carol August 31st and September 1st at 6:00 PM at Halifax Community College!

Want to be a part of the show but not necessarily on stage? Contact [email protected]. We would love to teach you how to direct, produce, run lights or tech, make costumes, stage manage, and much more! There is always a role for everybody!

Calling all singers! Audition for The Way It Was: Holly Jolly Memories and celebrate the season through music!

Who Can Audition?
This production is open to performers of all ages with strong singing voices. Those auditioning should prepare a song that best showcases their vocal ability.

Performance Dates
Following rehearsals, the production will travel throughout the region with performances on:

December 6 – The Acorn Center, Littleton
December 13 – Warrenton, Location to be announced
December 20 – The Griffin Centre, Halifax Community College

Rehearsal Expectations
Unlike our full theatrical productions, The Way It Was: Holly Jolly Memories has a lighter rehearsal schedule. Cast members can expect only a handful of full-group rehearsals prior to tech week and should plan to learn and practice their music independently between rehearsals. Several rehearsals will be held during tech week to prepare for performances.

Every great tradition starts somewhere. Be a part of this one and join us as we bring A Christmas Carol to life this holiday season!

Auditions for A Christmas Carol, an original adaptation by LCAC's Bill O'Neal, will be held August 31 and September 1 at 6:00 PM at Halifax Community College.

We're casting all ages and experience levels, with a wide variety of principal, featured, and ensemble roles available, including Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, Belle, the Spirits, children, townspeople, carolers, and more. Whether you're a seasoned performer or stepping onto the stage for the first time, we'd love to see you!

This production offers roles with varying commitment levels, making it easy for families, students, and adults to participate.
