I am professionally known as DJ DC, owner of DC Weddings. I started DJing when I was seven for block parties and then began DJing weddings in my early teen years. I have over 20 years of experience in DJing weddings. I started DJing family and friends’ weddings via word of mouth. In 2005, I was referred to the Lookout Mountain Crystal Rose Event Center, where I was able to increase my experience a
nd technique. In 2009, I registered my business (DC Weddings) with the state of Colorado and have had the privilege of DJing at many different venues. I started DJing at smaller venues: La Salla, Tarantulas (as a weekly resident), Cosmos, Cervantes’, in Denver to DJing at larger clubs and larger venues for weddings and festivals. Some of the larger nightclubs that I have performed at include: “The Church,” “Rise” (now known as “Beta”), “The Shelter”-main floor (now known as “Bar Standard”), “Bar Standard” and “Beta.” I have also had the privilege of DJing a private party at the Mile High Stadium, at the Pepsi Center, as well as the Exdo Event Center. I was hired to DJ a wedding ceremony and reception at Coors Field, and had the privilege to DJ for four Caffeine Festivals at the Broomfield Event Center as a guest of DJ Curiosity. I have performed for many youth events and youth groups at different churches ranging from “Friend-Days,” to summer camps and harvest festivals. I have also had the privilege of ministering through music at the Solar Fest in Colorado, Icthus in Kentucky, Creation in Washington, and Heaven Fest in Colorado. I was a resident DJ for the current owner of the Retro Room Lounge and Bar in Denver, Colorado, who is also the owner of the Refinery, where I now currently reside playing monthly. The next festival that I am proud to be a part of is the Fire and Ice Arts Festival in Loveland, Colorado February 12th! I am a father of two beautiful girls and a husband to a wonderful wife. God has truly blessed me and my career! I am completely humbled by what He has done for me and I am truly amazed to see what He has given me the opportunity to be a part of! It is my passion to bring His Light into the darkness! And with God's help, He will continue giving me the opportunity to do so. I am going to continue living my life through God’s word and hope to share His love to others. So far, He has allowed me to minister in some of the most amazing places on earth! And one day, some way…somehow, I WILL DJ at Red Rocks and Around the World! Thank You Father for your Love and Grace, and never giving up on me!!!!
