One of the biggest myths in weddings…

This crowd loved country, but the also loved when “Shake it Off” came on….

The best weddings aren’t about sticking to one genre. They are about creating the right moments, reading the room, and keeping the energy where it belongs.

This is the first time I’ve ever opened the dance floor with “Dixieland Delight”… and wow, did it deliver.

With a guest list full of cowboys and cowgirls, this classic had the dance floor singing, smiling, and the energy was contagious.

Moments don’t happen like this just because of one song.

They happen because we spent months planning the right atmosphere-from the ceremony and heartfelt speeches to the special dances and finally the moment we opened the dance floor. Every part of the day helped build the excitement. And when it was time to party, everyone was ready.

I honestly didn’t expect this reaction, but it’s one I will never forget!

Congrats Caleb and Kylee! Thank you for bringing me in to be a part of such and incredible night!

A week before the wedding, the bride’s dad called with a secret idea. He knew she had picked out every detail of her wedding day and a specific song for the father daughter dance..instead we opened with Sweet Child O’ Mine before seamlessly transitioning into Brent Morgan’s version. For a few seconds, she genuinely thought I had played the wrong song… then she looked at her dad and realized he had planned the whole surprise. Moments like this are why I love being a wedding DJ. ❤️

This one means a lot to me.

Earlier this year, Jeremy with Girard Photography & Films joined me at Mount Vernon Canyon Club to capture Madison & Nik’s wedding day and help bring a vision to life that I’ve been wanting to create for a long time.

As DJs, people often see the party and the dance floor… but there’s so much more that goes into creating an elevated experience. From planning and communication to guiding the flow of the day and creating moments that feel natural and memorable, this video gives a little insight into what it’s like to work with me.

I love how this turned out and I’m excited to finally share it.

Huge thanks to Madison & Nik for allowing me to be part of such an incredible day, and to Jeremy at Girard Creative for helping tell this story.
