Progress report on the Die Cutter, for TerraSlate Waterproof Paper & Menus. The texture phase is coming to a close and I have done some lighting and rendering as well! Texturing isn't done yet, they have notes I have my own edits, BUT, I think it is coming along nicely. Can't wait to finish it with it's animation! This has been one of the busy rewarding projects I have ever gotten to do.

Hey guys! Long time no art! Well thanks to the fabulous, professional, and efficient TerraSlate Waterproof Paper & Menus I have been commissioned to 3D model and texture their Die cutter for advertising purposes. A die cutter, to put it simply, is a machine that can cut any custom design into paper. It is very cool and I am very excited to share my progress! This is the end of the poly modeling phase, next is the texturing phase!

Hi Guys! Long time, no art. Well that is all about to change! Thanks to the professional, wonderful and reliable TerraSlate Waterproof Paper & Menus I have been commissioned to 3D model and texture their Die Cutter. It is a machine that, simply put, can create any custom design cut into paper. I think my modeling phase is over! Time to start texturing

Here is an update on my oven, still in feedback and critique mode, so I would still call this a WIP. But I modified the metal in to make it look more like stainless steel, which helped the grease stains appear. I took out the red stains on the stove, changed the color to black, added some height to make it look like carbon build up. I also modified layering of the grease stains, making some look more "bulbous" than others, i took down the intensity of the scratches and added some hand prints, and the lights less intense in Maya.

Here is an update on my Oven. I modeled it in Maya, and textured in in adobe 3D substance painter. I want to animate it and give it a turn around, and I am also at the juncture where I would like some critique, when I make on of my assets into a turn around I consider the work complete. So whatever looks off I wanna know about it!

GETTING BACK INTO IT!
This is my WIP of an industrial kitchen and Oven. This would be used in a restaurant's kitchen. The modeling and UV mapping is done. After a short snack break it is off to Adobe 3D substance painter for texturing!

Alright here is my week 2 work in progress check. This is called the round out phase, where I take the block out and try to make it look a little more organic. Week 3 progress up date will happen in a few days.
If you're wondering why only half of him is done, it's because when he's built I'm going to mirror image the other half of his body from this half. It's a lot simpler process then modeling both sides of the body.
