Our Story

Hi Everyone!

Saranne Sweeney here - wife to one cool husband, mom to two adorable kiddos and one puppy, sister to three, sister in law to 6 and aunt to 10 of the best little people! These are just a few of the hats I wear (pun intended) - but what started as my hobby, my “me time” has quickly become another hat to wear - one that I am so excited and proud to say - owner and the hands behind Anna Crochet Shop! With all the little people in my life, I was always making cute character hats, baby blankets, Santa hats and so much more. I quickly realized how much I loved every step of the process- researching and drawing up the patterns, picking out the perfect colors, the actual crocheting and the big reveal to the recipient. I also realized how much everyone loved the stuff I made! After a little push from my husband and family, I decided I wanted to make my projects available to others too. When you order from Anna Crochet Shop, I can assure you the best quality, made to order items that are made with lots of love! I specialize in baby items but have an expansive portfolio of crochet items I have already made over the years. I also love a creative challenge so if there is something you don’t see, please reach out and let’s chat and see if it’s something I can do!
