DEEP SUPER - 9 5/8" Large 10 FRAME hive body
MEDIUM SUPER - 6 5/8" Medium 10 FRAME hive body

Your Honey Bees deserve a beautiful home! Why not decorate your yard with some beautiful art as well! All of my hives are hand painted to order just for you. You can choose from several background colors. All hives have a Polyurethane sealant to pres

erve the paint. They will start to fade over time in direct light but they really start to look even better with age! All of my hives pictured here have been in the bee yard for 2 years and the colors are still vibrant. The Bee Boxes are painted all the way around with the hand painted detail on the front and both sides. There will be slight variations because they are all hand painted. Also, there may be slight variations depending on what size hive body you get. I always make sure that no matter the style you choose, that is placed best to suit the size of the box :)

The bee boxes usually ship unassembled for MUCH cheaper shipping costs and just require some wood glue and a square to put them together. I will send the nails with the box. I lightly assemble the box and paint it, then pull it apart for shipping. If you want them sent assembled I can do that as well but the cost is higher because of the size for shipping.

This 75-minute benefit concert for Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery (where my son is a resident practicing monk) and Nagi Nunnery in Nepal, will be hosted by special guest, Richard Gere. Renowned Tibetan Buddhist meditation master and abbot of the monastery, Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche, will give a brief teaching and introduction. Performances by prominent musicians - including Cher, Gregory Porter, Angélique Kidjo, Maggie Rogers, Jon Batiste, Norah Jones, Laurie Anderson, and Steve Miller Band - will be streamed to a global audience. Beautiful videos will showcase life at the monastery, including glimpses into the lives of monks and nuns, spectacular musical and artistic ritual practices unique to Tibetan Buddhism, social work and direct aid activities in and around the Kathmandu Valley, and introductions to the unique philosophical and meditation traditions of Tibetan Buddhism.

The show can be viewed for free, but as this is a benefit concert we strongly encourage everyone to show their support through one of the donation options at ticket purchase.

Bees are amazing. Harvesting honey today and a few bees got a little sticky but we’re doing a good job cleaning each other up. Then one B got caught in a spiderweb! I was able to rescue her and the other bees all gathered around her and started unwrapping the web from her.
