ORDER IN THE COURT!

The case of "Legally Blonde Jr." is officially on the docket, and tickets go on sale tomorrow, June 5, at 10:00 AM.

After hearing the testimony from 100 talented campers, reviewing countless exhibits of singing, dancing, and acting, and examining the evidence, we are prepared to rule that this production is going to be ridiculously fabulous.

The court finds that audiences should make plans to attend performances at Wildwood Park for the Arts and witness these incredible young artists present their case.

The verdict?

A fun filled, heartwarming musical packed with energy, laughter, friendship, and enough pink to satisfy even the most distinguished legal scholars.

The smiles. The laughter. The voices. The choreography. The acting. The friendships.

Over the last several days, Stage 13 has been filled with the kind of energy that reminds us exactly why we do what we do. Watching these young artists learn, grow, create, and support one another has brought so much joy to our entire team.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of these students. Their enthusiasm, courage, creativity, and willingness to jump into the process have made this first week of camp truly special.

A huge thank you also goes to our amazing teachers and staff. Their talent, patience, professionalism, and dedication are helping create an environment where these students can thrive, build confidence, and discover what they are capable of.

We cannot wait to see what the next two weeks bring as these 100 campers continue working toward their production of "Legally Blonde Jr." The future is bright, and it is happening right here at Stage 13.

We also want to thank the broader arts community. We firmly believe that the arts thrive when we support one another, collaborate, and celebrate each other's successes. We are grateful to be part of a community of artists and organizations working together to create meaningful opportunities throughout Arkansas.

To be recognized as Best Theater Company is incredibly meaningful because that word, company, represents exactly who we strive to be: a group of people united by purpose, creativity, integrity, and a shared belief in the transformative power of the arts.

A huge THANK YOU to Rock N Roll Sushi Rock N Roll Sushi - Little Rock, AR for generously donating lunch to our Summer Musical Theatre Camp today!

Our campers and staff absolutely loved it, and it fueled a day full of singing, dancing, acting, and "Legally Blonde Jr." fun at Stage 13.

We are so grateful for community partners who support arts education and help make experiences like this even more special for our young performers.

Today, Stage 13 welcomed 100 incredible campers for the first day of our three week musical theatre camp culminating in a fully staged production of "Legally Blonde Jr."

The excitement was in the air from the moment families lined up for check in, and we could not be more thrilled to fill our halls with young artists ready to sing, dance, act, learn, create, and make new friends.

Over the next three weeks, these talented students will work hard, grow boldly, and bring so much energy and joy to Stage 13. We cannot wait to watch them transform into the fabulous world of "Legally Blonde Jr." Let the pink filled theatrical adventure begin!

Central Arkansas, meet your Jimmy Awards representatives.

Congratulations again to Collin Carlton and Annie Zimmerman, who recently joined KARK 4 to talk about their upcoming journey to New York City for the 17th Annual Jimmy Awards that will take place on June 22.

The National High School Musical Theatre Awards®, better known as the Jimmy Awards®, are a national celebration of outstanding student achievement in musical theatre, recognizing excellence in vocal, dance, and acting performance while highlighting the vital importance of theatre arts education in our schools.

Presented by The Broadway League Foundation, the Jimmy Awards bring together the top high school musical theatre performers from across the nation to train, collaborate, and compete on a Broadway stage.

We could not be more proud of Collin and Annie as they represent Central Arkansas as Broadway Bound Award winners and the incredible talent this state has to offer. New York City awaits, and we will be cheering them on every step of the way!

One of the many joys we experience at Stage 13 is getting to witness the incredible talents of our staff, including our very own Master Carpenter, Paige Carpenter.

Paige is a true multi talented force. Not only does she design and build beautiful sets, she inhabits them with remarkable characters, sharp comedic timing, a beautiful voice, and undeniable stage presence.

She is absolutely wonderful in Murry’s Dinner Playhouse’s production of Ken Ludwig’s "Baskerville," reminding us that the hands that build the world can also brilliantly command it.

Bravo to Paige, the outstanding cast and crew, and everyone involved in this wildly entertaining production.

If you have not seen "Baskerville" yet, consider this your clue: the FINAL performance is tomorrow. Do not miss your chance to experience the mystery, mayhem, and laughter for yourself!

Though it has been several weeks since Actors Theatre of Little Rock's production of “Fences” closed, the power of that production still lingers. It was an incredibly moving and impactful piece of theatre with powerhouse performances. Congratulations to the entire cast and crew on such an outstanding presentation. You all truly knocked it out of the park.
