🩵 Meet the cast of Dear Evan Hansen at UA Little Rock!

The winner of six Tony Awards (including Best Musical), the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, and an Olivier Award for Best Musical, Dear Evan Hansen is a deeply personal and profoundly contemporary musical about life and the way we live it! Rated PG-13. 🌳💌📱

This production runs October 21-25 in Haislip Theatre in the Center for Performing Arts on the UA Little Rock campus. This production is directed by Caelon Colbert and music directed by Leslie Harper.

Join us for Dear Evan Hansen Auditions TODAY! 💙💌🌳

UA Little Rock’s Theatre Arts program is bringing the powerful, emotional, and unforgettable Dear Evan Hansen to the stage this October, and we’re looking for strong, authentic storytellers to join the cast!

Auditions are open to UA Little Rock affiliates and members of the Central Arkansas community. We are currently seeking performers for Evan, Zoe, Jared, Alana, Connor, and our Virtual Ensemble. We’re looking for thoughtful collaborators, joyful artists, and dependable ensemble members who are ready to tell this story together.

🎭 AUDITIONS: Tuesday, September 1st
📍 Haislip Theatre | UA Little Rock
⏰ Beginning at 4pm, by appointment
🎶 Prepare 32 bars or 1 minute of a song that showcases your vocal abilities and storytelling in a pop/rock or contemporary musical theatre style. Please provide your own accompaniment track.

📅 Rehearsals begin: September 8
🎟️ Performances: October 21–25
Auditions are open regardless of gender identity, body type, race, voice type, or experience level. You must be 17+ to audition.

Dear Evan Hansen opens the season with a deeply moving story about connection, identity, and the search to be seen. Running October 21–25, 2026! 📝🩵🌳

Our annual Fringe Festival returns this spring, showcasing bold, original, and experimental performances created by emerging theatre artists. Running March 3–7, 2027!

We close the season with Lysistrata, the enduring comedy by Aristophanes that proves satire, wit, and the power of unity never go out of style. Running April 14–18, 2027. 🚺⚔️😂
