This week we are sharing our hidden talents and reminding you that registration for our talent showdown is underway! The talent showdown is open to youth 5-17* and you can represent your county or participate as an at large contestant. Go check it out at ArkansasStateFair.com/pageants for more info!

Fun fact! When I was younger, I competed in the talent show at the Arkansas State Fair, where I had the opportunity to perform a monologue from Charlie Brown. I ended up winning 3rd place! 🥉

Looking back, this was one of the first times I truly got to use my voice and share the gift God gave me. It taught me that talent doesn’t always have to come in the form of a dance or a song. Sometimes, it’s simply your voice, your words, and the way you choose to use them.

I hope this serves as a reminder to never overlook the gifts you’ve been given. Your voice is powerful, and it deserves to be heard. ❤️

High school can feel overwhelming sometimes, but please remember that someone else’s words or opinions do not define your worth or your future. There is so much life beyond these four years.

Check on your people. Choose kindness. Speak up when you’re struggling. And always remember, you matter more than you know.

The Miss Arkansas State Fair program is growing more rapid than ever, and we’re looking for businesses and organizations who want to grow with us!

Did you know that our program officially kicked off in 1907 and while it has looked a little different through the years, one thing is the same. Our contestants represent county fairs and communities all across Arkansas. They are students, leaders, and volunteers. They are advocates for education, home economics, agriculture and the arts and ambassadors for the traditions that make The Arkansas State Fair so special.
