50 YEARS OF MEMORIES AND MAGIC AT THE REP
Chapter 5- "A LEGACY OF LAUGHTER"

From razor-sharp wit to joyful absurdity, comedy has always had a home on The Rep’s stages. Revisit some of the productions that filled our theatres with laughter — and reminded us why shared joy is one of the most powerful things live performance can offer.

In celebration of our golden anniversary, we spoke with more than a hundred artists, staff members, patrons, and community leaders who have helped shape The Rep’s legacy as Arkansas’s flagship professional theatre. Throughout 2026, we’ll be sharing collections of their stories—moments of discovery, joy, laughter, and transformation that reflect the lasting power of live theatre. Please enjoy their memories, and the magic that made them possible.
